Meet Sharon
Welcome!
I’m Sharon, a therapist who helps adults transform stress, anxiety, ADHD challenges, and major life transitions into clarity, focus, and strength. Before becoming a therapist, I built careers as a videographer, coffee entrepreneur, and real estate investor. Drawing on my own experience navigating career and identity shifts, moving to new homes and communities, and developing multiple ventures, I provide a compassionate, mind-body, trauma-informed approach to support clients in cultivating resilience, enhancing emotional well-being, and creating a more fulfilling, focused life.
I welcome people from all walks of life. If you're looking for a warm, affirming space to explore, heal, and grow, I’d be honored to be part of your journey. I’m a member of the Alliance of Social Workers in Sports, and I’m LGBTQIA+, kink, and poly/ENM/CNM affirming.
I was raised in Chevy Chase, Maryland and lived in California and Montana. I now call Frederick, Maryland home. I graduated from Stanford University, and received my MFA from Montana State University and my MSW from University of Maryland Baltimore. When I am not at work, you can find me being active outdoors, enjoying time with friends and family, and exploring Frederick.
My work is:
Client-centered
creating a warm, affirming, judgment-free space.
Mind-body focused
paying attention to physical sensations and the body’s response to stress and emotion.
Trauma-informed
sensitive to past trauma and its ongoing effects.
Integrative
helping clients move from surviving or coping to thriving.
Goal-oriented
drawing from a variety of modalities including IFS, EMDR, somatic, narrative, psychodynamic, NLP, attachment-based, coaching, and strength-based techniques.
